Wood bats are built for performance, but they are made from natural wood and can break during play. The HC Bat Protection Plan gives you added peace of mind by providing a one-time replacement if your eligible bat breaks during normal use within 60 days of the original purchase date.

Coverage Requirements

To qualify for the HC Bat Protection Plan:

• The Protection Plan must be purchased at the same time as your HC Bat.
• The plan only applies to the bat purchased in the same order.
• Claims must be submitted within 60 days of the original purchase date.
• Proof of purchase is required.

What Is Not Covered

The HC Bat Protection Plan does not cover:

• Abuse, misuse, negligence, or intentional damage.
• Bats that have been altered, modified, or repaired.
• Damage caused by hitting on the label side or directly opposite the label.
• Hits within approximately one inch of the end of the barrel.
• Damage resulting from improper storage or exposure to excessive heat or moisture.
• Commercial batting cage use.
• Use with dimple balls, rubber balls, weighted balls, or other non-regulation training balls.
• Cosmetic wear including scratches, paint chips, dents, or normal finish wear.
• Lost or stolen bats.

Proper Bat Use

Wood bats are designed to make contact on the edge grain, approximately 90 degrees from the label. Improper contact greatly increases the risk of breakage and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

How to File a Claim

Email info@hc-bats.com with:

• Your order number or proof of purchase
• Your full name and shipping address
• Clear photos of the damaged bat
• A brief description of how the damage occurred

Our team will review your claim and determine eligibility under the Protection Plan.

Replacement Policy

If your claim is approved:

• You will receive one replacement bat.
• The replacement will be the same model, length, weight, and specifications whenever available.
• If your original model is no longer available, HC Bat Company reserves the right to provide a comparable replacement of equal value.
• Customers are responsible for shipping the damaged bat to HC Bat Company unless instructed otherwise.
• International customers, including Alaska and Hawaii, are responsible for applicable shipping charges on replacement bats.
• Replacement bats are not eligible for additional warranty or Protection Plan coverage.

Important

The HC Bat Protection Plan is a one-time replacement program and is separate from the standard HC Bats Limited Warranty.

The Protection Plan is non-refundable, non-transferable, and may only be purchased with a new HC Bat. It cannot be added after an order has been placed.

HC Bat Company reserves the right to inspect all claims and deny coverage if the damage does not meet the terms of this Protection Plan.
