Coverage Requirements

To qualify for the HC Bat Protection Plan:

✔ The Protection Plan must be purchased at the same time as your new HC Bat.

✔ The Protection Plan only applies to the bat purchased within the same order.

✔ Claims must be submitted within 60 days of the original purchase date.

✔ Proof of purchase is required.

What's Not Covered

The HC Bat Protection Plan does not cover:

✖ Abuse, misuse, negligence, or intentional damage.

✖ Bats that have been altered, modified, or repaired.

✖ Damage caused by hitting on the label side or directly opposite the label.

✖ Hits within approximately one inch of the end of the barrel or near the handle.

✖ Damage caused by improper storage or exposure to excessive heat or moisture.

✖ Commercial batting cage use.

✖ Use with dimple balls, rubber balls, weighted balls, or other non-regulation training balls.

✖ Cosmetic wear including scratches, dents, paint chips, or normal finish wear.

✖ Lost or stolen bats.

Proper Bat Use

Wood bats are designed to make contact on the edge grain, approximately 90 degrees from the label.

Improper contact dramatically increases the likelihood of breakage and is considered user error rather than a manufacturing defect.

Using your bat correctly not only improves durability but also helps maximize its overall performance.

How to File a Claim

If your bat experiences eligible damage during the coverage period, simply email info@hc-bats.com and include:

• Your order number or proof of purchase

• Your full name

• Shipping address

• Clear photos of the damaged bat

• A brief explanation of how the damage occurred

Once received, our team will carefully review your claim and determine eligibility under the HC Bat Protection Plan.

Replacement Policy

If your claim is approved:

✔ You will receive one replacement bat.

✔ Your replacement bat will match the original model, length, weight, and specifications whenever available.

✔ If the original model is no longer available, HC Bat Company reserves the right to provide a comparable replacement of equal value.

✔ Customers are responsible for shipping the damaged bat to HC Bat Company unless instructed otherwise.

✔ International customers, including Alaska and Hawaii, are responsible for all applicable shipping charges on replacement bats.

Replacement bats are not eligible for additional HC Bat Protection Plan coverage.

Can I purchase the Protection Plan after I receive my bat?

No. The HC Bat Protection Plan must be purchased at the same time as your new HC Bat and cannot be added after your order has been placed.

Does every broken bat qualify for replacement?

No. Every claim is individually reviewed to determine whether the damage meets the terms and conditions of the HC Bat Protection Plan.

Is the Protection Plan transferable?

No. The Protection Plan is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser and the original bat purchased in the same order.

Is the Protection Plan refundable?

No. Once purchased, the HC Bat Protection Plan is non-refundable.

Does my replacement bat include another Protection Plan?

No. Replacement bats are not eligible for additional Protection Plan coverage.
